Terms and Conditions Lamps/Chairs/Furniture

These general terms and conditions apply to every offer from the entrepreneur and to all distance contracts concluded between the entrepreneur and the consumer.
By placing your order you agree to the delivery, warranty and payment conditions of Lumière Living.
Lumière Living reserves the right to change the terms of delivery, warranty and payment. For a concluded purchase agreement, the terms and conditions apply as they were valid on the day of the date stated on the invoice.

Execution of agreement.

Before concluding the agreement, the website clearly describes how and within what period the delivery or shipment will take place. If goods are not deliverable or shippable on time, you will be notified of this, please note that shipment and delivery are two different things. In the case of shipment, the product will be shipped within that period and in the case of delivery, the duration of the delivery itself. In that case, you can agree to the new delivery date or the offered alternative, or you can terminate the agreement free of charge.

Prices.

All prices mentioned are including VAT. We are not responsible for (colour) deviations due to your screen quality or ignorance. The prices include shipping costs unless otherwise stated. If shipping costs are charged, this will be clearly stated before concluding the agreement.

Right of withdrawal.

You have the right to invoke the withdrawal of the agreement within 30 days (without giving notice). The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you, receive the goods. Unless you have purchased a piece of furniture with a self-chosen colour, size or fabric. Chairs and sofas are upholstered to order within 12 hours. That is also the duration of the withdrawal period.

Implementation of the right of withdrawal.

If you wish to exercise the right of withdrawal, you must send a clear statement by post or e-mail informing us of your decision to withdraw from this contract.

General Terms and Conditions for Benches.

Warranty

1. Our products are covered by a 2-year factory warranty. This warranty includes a two-year period for seams and seat constructions. Damage caused by the user is not covered by this warranty.

2. Warranty does not apply to show models.

3. Signs of use such as pilling, discolouration and creasing are not covered by the warranty.

4. Defects upon delivery must be reported within 2 days by email, including photos and receipt, to info@lumiereliving.nl.

5. In certain cases the manufacturer may be involved, but we remain the primary point of contact and remain responsible for the customer.

6. During the production process imperfections may occur; in such cases you must give us the opportunity to rectify any defects.

Order

1. We reserve the right not to accept the order or any part thereof.

2. Changes after placing the order must be communicated in writing within 2 days via e-mail to info@lumiereliving.nl. We reserve the right not to accept changes if they are no longer possible with the manufacturer.

Delivery time

1. Delivery times stated are only indications, as our products are usually made to order.

2. If the expected delivery time has passed, we have an additional period of 1 month to deliver.

Delivery

1. When furniture is delivered, unless otherwise agreed or indicated, it will be delivered to the door. When placing it inside, we are not liable for any damage to your home.

2. It is your responsibility to ensure that the furniture fits inside your home. If delivery beyond the threshold is not possible, a threshold delivery applies.

3. Additional charges will be applied if multiple deliveries are required.

4. Products can be stored for a maximum of 1 month after the final delivery date, after which charges may apply.

Price and payment

1. Products are supplied at the prices applicable at the time of purchase.

2. Purchased products remain the property of Lumière Living until they have been paid for in full.

3. Any problems upon delivery will be resolved, but full payment is required.

Article 6. Returns of online orders

1. Products can be returned within 14 days, unless they are excluded from the right of withdrawal. Custom-made products are not covered by the right of withdrawal.

2. In case of right of withdrawal, the product must remain unused and unopened. Costs may be charged for damage, missing packaging or parts.

3. Return costs are at your expense.

4. After receiving the return shipment, we will refund all payments within 14 days, with the exception of delivery costs.

Under the condition:

Sizes and dimensions are indicative and not binding. Small deviations may occur due to manual production. Other product information is subject to errors, typographical errors and printing errors. Colors in images may differ from the actual product.

General Terms and Conditions Mattresses

When purchasing a mattress through our company, the following conditions apply. By placing an order, the buyer agrees to these conditions:

1. No Trial Sleeping of Applied Mattresses

Our mattresses are offered at competitive prices because we work with batches, residual stocks and returns. This means we cannot offer the same conditions as some manufacturers, such as Emma, ​​who offer trial sleep or return options.

  • It is not possible to use a trial sleep or return after use, regardless of the duration of use.
  • Mattresses can only be returned if they are unused , undamaged and in the original, sealed packaging.

2. Hygienic Considerations

For hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns of opened or used mattresses .

  • When opening the original packaging it is assumed that the mattress has been used. This voids the right to return or exchange.
  • This measure is taken to protect all our customers and to meet strict hygiene requirements.

3. Prices and Batch Stocks

We offer mattresses at reduced prices because we buy residual stock, batches and returns. This can mean that:

  • The packaging may contain minor cosmetic damage (e.g. scratches or dents), but the product itself is in new condition.
  • The product is not accompanied by additional services such as a trial sleep or free returns.
  • Our mattresses come from different production series and countries, which means there may be variations in foam type, firmness and appearance compared to the photos shown.
