How do I get my mattress into the right shape?

If your mattress is new and hasn't fully taken shape yet (for example, a vacuum-packed memory foam or cold foam mattress), you can try the following tips:

Let the mattress roll out and breathe – Lay the mattress on a flat surface and let it expand for at least 24 to 72 hours. Some mattresses need 7 days to regain their full shape, this is because mattresses have been vacuum packed for a long time.

Optimize room temperature – Memory foam mattresses respond to temperature. A warm room (around 20-22°C) helps the foam expand faster.

Gently massage the mattress – By gently pressing or kneading the mattress, you can help it regain its shape more quickly.

Remove the cover – If your mattress has a removable cover, it may help to temporarily remove it. This gives the foam more room to fully expand.

Lie on it and move around – Lay on the mattress for a while in different places and move around a bit. This helps the foam to adjust and expand faster.
